John Fred Gourrier is one of just a few "Louisiana Artists" who were around the studios in New Orleans back in the late 50's when some of the pioneers of Rock n' Roll were recording. His 1958 recording of "Shirley" made the Billboard top 40 charts when he was only 16 years old. In 1968, "Judy in Disguise" reached #1 worldwide.
